Every year, offerings are given to the Shen Lung to ensure a bountiful harvest. The Shen Lung is also known as the herald of good tidings and an auspicious symbol of abundance. Symbolizing good fortune and abundance, the Shen Lung is usually placed anywhere in the main areas of the home or business. When placed facing the outside, it is thought to bring about good weather.
